GAA Club Notes

The club would like to thank everyone who turned up for the Tipperary draw last friday night.
A great night was had by all and some wonderful spot prizes were taken home and thanks again to the Tipperary board for supporting the club.

Our under 16’s got their football  season of to a great start last Saturday evening with a fantastic game against  rivals Mullinahone who were playing at home. Clerihan were the more progressive side in the first half out scoring their rivals but Mullinahone came back to end the first half neck in neck at 1-2 to 1-2.
Things really heated up in the second half with both sides battling for supremacy but it looked like it was not to be for Clerihan as the whistle loomed, three points down and into injury time a fantastic goal put them all even, this was followed up  by a point and the final whistle put Clerihan on top 3-6 to 3-5.

Could all the new ladies members please make sure fees are paid to ensure cover, and dont forget to purchase your St. Patricks day badges in conjunction  with the carers association, a very worthy cause.
