The ladies football club held their annual awards ceremony last Friday night and it was well attended by players and parents alike.
Awards were presented in the following categories, most improved and player of the year:
Under 11 Sophie Boyle and Leah Clancy
Under 12 Fiona Mc Grath and Kate Corcoran
Under 14 Aisling Walsh and Eilleen Flannery
Minor Amy Gillman and Elaine Butler
A special presentation was made to our two county players Hollie Corcoran and Eilleen Flannery for the tremendous effort they have put into their club football and we wish them every success with their county championship games. The club would also like to thank Sean o Donovan and Barbara from the county senior football squad for making the presentations to the girls, and we can’t forget our secretary, Evelyn McGrath who puts in a Trojan effort to make sure the club runs smoothly .
Our under 16 championship is starting next week so it’s essential that all girls attend training, any queries to Paddy Murphy 0878201910.
