Congratulations to everyone involved in our annual shows on May 30 and 31. Two wonderful nights of music, song, drama and dance were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Many thanks to all who supported our raffles, the proceeds of which will enable us to contribute to the purchase of a Difibrillator Cabinet for the community.

To the absolute delight of teachers, Mr. Walsh and Ms. O’ Connell, our athletes gave a regal performance at the recent Cidona Sports in Clonmel. After a day of outstanding activity, the girls won the shield for best school with the boys coming in second.

Molaim sibh uilig. We also had ten first places in individual events.

The boys were defeated in the U13 county semi-final against Mullinahone. Well done to our boys who won county football medals with the club in Semple Stadium recently. Congratulations to Aaron Condon who was selected on the Tipperary Primary Game hurling team to meet Clare. Best wishes to Eileen Flannery who has been selected on the equivalent camogie team for the Munster final in Cork.

She has also been selected to play in Croke Park on a Tipperary 7s camogie team later in the summer. Molaim Emma Cronin, Rosie Fitzgerald, Rachel Browne and Lily Finch-Clements who won county football medals with Moyle Rovers recently.

Well done to Aidan Lyons who became the third member of his family to win Cumann na mBunscol county football medals in the school after Eoghan and Emer in the recent past – a unique achievement.

Well done to Kayleigh Flannery, a wonderful young athlete, who retained her county Community Games title in gymnastics recently. She then took part in the national finals in Athlone. Congrats to Leah Clancy who won medals for dancing in Tralee in March.

We bade farewell to our excellent sixth class after Mass in the hall on June 23. Before they left they organised a Jumble Sale for a charitable cause which raised €410. The generosity and kindness of their parents was deeply appreciated by all the staff. We wish our 21 pupils every success and happiness in secondary school. Go néirí go geal libh uilig.
