Under 14 NSL
Peake villa 3 v Clerihan 0

What looked on paper a chance for clerihan to get back to winning ways after a run of bad results proved yet again to be another bad day for the boys, With the teams level at half time clerihans only chance came from a Jack Burke through ball for Luke Hahessy who was unlucky not to convert. Peake villa opened up the scoring in the second half when the clerihan defence failed to challange the opposition attack .A tackle on Shane Hickey which took place in the penalty area was only awarded with a free kick which resulted in Jack Burke coming close hitting the cross bar,Clerihans only other chance came when Shane Hickey converted only to be called offside. A promising start to the season now looks like ending up a relagation fight.
