St. Michael’s N.S. Parent’s Association – Thanks

The Parents Association would like to thank everyone who attended our Annual Christmas Fair on Sunday,  December 4, a great time was had by both young and old.  We would like to thank everyone involved in the children’s Choir who gave such a beautiful welcome to the people on arrival, it certainly made the day very special. We would like to thank the school and the teachers for all of their support and for helping the children prepare such beautiful crafts and to the children who helped run the stalls on the day.

A very big thank you to all of our generous sponsors and to everyone who gave donations of such delightful cakes and confectionery and for the prizes that were donated for our Christmas Raffle and spin the wheel.
We would like to sincerely thank our local Knitting club and our independent craft stalls who brought so much to the day .  Thank you also to Santa who took time out of his busy schedule to be with us on the day.
A final thank you to Fr. O’ Bric for his help and to everyone who helped in any way to make this such an enjoyable and successful event.

Football and Hurling

Under 6 football and hurling will finish for christmas on Tuesday the 13th of December. We want to thank all the boys for all the hard work and dedication they put in throughout the year and hopefully they can repeat that next year.

Their skills are really coming along and this should show in their games next year. Lets hope Santa brings them all the presents they want for Christmas as they have been a great bunch to deal with (well, most of them anyway) and Happy Christmas to you all .

We cant forget our girls and the great year they had under 12′s getting beaten in the County Final, what an achievement for such a young club, we also had a number of girls attend the Tipperary development squad which was a great boost for the club moral. Lets hope, next year we can bring home the cup, Mr Walsh pulled out all the stops to produce an under 14 girls team and hopefully they wont let us down. We’re getting stronger and stronger and we’ll prove this next year.

Hope you all have a great Christmas and dont forget to keep up the training
