U16 LEAGUE ST. KEVINS 9 CLERIHAN 1

The omens were bad from early morning with only ten players from a panel of eighteen making themselves available. We would have had to concede a walkover were it not for Adam Taylor-Fahy agreeing to play despite the fact that he is not yet fully recovered from a recent serious injury. The game itself saw Clerihan completely outclassed. Three goals down at half-time , the second period is best forgotten as St. Kevins trebled their advantage. The only reply from Clerihan was an excellent free-kick from Rory Maher.
