In 2010 some research was carried out to study the effects of the Celtic tiger on  social and spatial trends. The village of Clerihan was used as a case study.  Here are some of the results of that case study. it makes for interesting reading.

There are reports of a break-in in the Clerihan area again this week. We need to protect ourselves and our families from these events.

The text alert scheme is one such way. If you join the scheme you will receive text alerts from the Gardai on any suspicious happenings in our area. There is a chance to sign up for the scheme in Daybreak Clerihan on Sunday morning the 1st Feb between 11 and 12.
